Do you offer free, no obligations quotes?

Yes.

Are your operatives highly experienced?

Yes. All work will be conducted or overseen by a City & Guilds qualified carpenter who has at least ten years of experience and specialises in undertaking work on period buildings.

How will your operatives work in my home with minimal disruption?

When we work on your sash windows in London, we are always extremely mindful of the fact that we are conducting work within your home and not a building site! As such, great care is taken to sheet floors and furniture properly, remove or tie back curtains and minimise dust circulation. A full clean-up is undertaken upon completion of the job.

How does your draught-proofing work?

Our draught-proofing is extremely effective. It is machined into your existing sashes, as well as being contained in newly fitted replica staff and parting beads. It is almost fully concealed, and will not change the appearance of your window. It will also assist the smooth running action of your sashes.

Can you double-glaze my windows, without changing how they look?

We may be able to double glaze your existing sashes. Alternatively, we can make new replica sashes with double glazing that fit into your existing frames (sashes are the part of the window that slide up and down). The end result is a window that looks the same as it always did, but with double glazing.

Will I need scaffolding?

No. We can nearly always conduct our work from the inside of the building.

Are your prices competitive?

We believe so. We will beat, or at least match any like-for-like quote.

Is your work guaranteed?

Written guarantees are presented upon completion; 10 years on new windows, 5 years on restorations.
